ASTRO are based in the most isolated city in the world, Perth Western Australia.
Distance is not their enemy but yet another reason to write songs that will connect with people. The band has a modern pop/rock sound that embraces catchy tunes about complex and simple things.
You may even find yourself singing along with their tunes after the first listen...
Their Debut album recorded in late 2009 will be released in early 2010.
This release will be the result of a life long dream/inner belief and persistence.
12 songs written and recorded in the Southern Hemisphere then mastered in the Northern Hemisphere by the well respected John Cornfield.
The prelude to their Debut Album will be the release of their E.P “Head First”.
The main aim of the E.P is to showcase songs from the forth coming album.
It will also feature their award winning international song competition tune.
ASTRO are:
Brad Gandy, Kieran Sleyer and Darryl Eagle.
All 3 band members have a varying and a wide range of influences that often result in exciting and unique sounds.
